Charles Schwab, Helen Schwab and Jim Schueler recognized this Valley as a treasure. They envisioned a 2,600-acre retreat that would be home to people like us who would preserve the land while creating lasting legacies. As members, we live that legacy every day. We’ve watched as this place has grown up strong and steady. And each day we enjoy rich amenities like our Stock Farm Club Montana Clubhouse Lodge. Its inviting log construction offers 27,000 intimate square feet and is as simple and grand as any historic national park lodge.
The welcoming interior of our Clubhouse is a natural gathering place where we mingle with other members and guests while enjoying special events or casual camaraderie. We all have our favorite foods and the offerings here keep us all satisfied. Gourmet dining options range from Montana bison or trout to fresh seafood to traditional continental fare all nuanced with locally grown herbs. These are relaxing surroundings where we share amenities that include a wine room, golf shop and locker rooms. Some of us prefer to lay back and relax. But others seek out the many opportunities to participate in barbeques, cooking classes and wine tastings. Looking through any window, in every direction, invites us to stop and take in the breathtaking views of our golf course, the Bitterroot Valley and the Bitterroot Mountain Range.
